This program provides funds on a monthly basis to pay medical insurance premiums for those individuals who have been diagnosed with AIDS or HIV positive.

Recipients must be gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered, diagnosed with AIDS or HIV positive, demonstrate a perceived financial need and have been recommended by a recognized referral agency. Additionally, recipients must reside in Colorado. After a recipient has been accepted into the program, they remain in the program as long as they can demonstrate a continued need. New applicants may be added to a waiting list until such time as funds become available.

A recognized referral agency, such as an HIV, AIDS or health organization, may request an application by calling the Alexander Foundation office at 303-331-7733 or email us at igrants@thealexanderfoundation.org. We will respond to the referring agency within 30 days of receipt of a completed application.
