Some examples of basic life needs are medical care, housing, food, clothing, phones, utilities, and so on. "Thank you so much for the grant that was recently sent to me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 months ago and began to receive chemotherapy. I was unable to continue to work full time because I was so sick and weak. Your generous grant helped me to pay my bills and gave me some peace of mind. I hope to be in a position someday soon to give back to the Alexander Foundation. Thank you again."
